Water Vs. Wine

It has been scientifically proven that if we drink 1 liter of water each day, at the end of the year we would have absorbed more than 1 kilo of Escherichia coli (E. coli) bacteria found in feces.

In other words, we are consuming 1 kilo of Poo.

However, we do not run that risk when drinking wine because alcohol has to go through a purification process of boiling, filtering and/or fermenting.

WATER = Poo

WINE = HEALTH

Ergo: It is better to drink wine and talk stupid than to drink water and be full of crap. There is no need to thank me for this valuable information; I am doing it as a public service.

Bad Blogger

ok, i know i havent blogged in like forever, but i will try to make up for it... although i know i will miss a few things... but the next four posts will catch you up to date with whats been going on... but here are a few extra notes that i didnt have pictures for so i didnt blog about them yet...


so my condo will now be ready probably in may instead of april... this is good and bad, bad because i want to move in so badly... i am even having dreams about moving in... i know its crazy, but im getting so excited about it... i will try to get a picture of the progress so you can see my place... but it may be a while. the good is because now i can save more money... theoretically... but thats what i hope... and i am sorry the ticker at the top of the page is half gone, but i couldnt figure out how to do it right... so if anyone knows... please let me know.


another thing is that mid january i got my nose pierced again... boy was that a saga... paul's was having a sale so since i had been thinking about it for a few months already i thought why not... so one saturday i went wedding dress shopping with jane... for jane, not me... and pauls was just down the road so i made her and her sister come with me... that was a good idea... so we went there and i think i actually got my piercing done around 6... this was not so good... i hadnt eaten since that morning so after it was done i actually almost passed out... i have never even been close to passing out... but my that is not a nice feeling... so luckily jane and her sister could rescue me but i badly needed something to eat so we went to janes future parents in laws place and ate some food... that helped a lot... and then since jane was going out with her future mother in law her sister had to drive me back to my car so i could go home... what a dork am i... but thanks girls... i dont know what i would have done if you werent there... everyone knows driving wouldnt have been a good idea... but anyway, i am so happy with my nose piercing.... i love it.


and last but definitely not least, sarah got engaged... so very exciting... i know i have said this before... probably a few times, but i will say it again... congratulations sarah and glen... i am so excited for both of you... well the other exciting thing is that i am a maid of honour... maria and i get to share the title and i am loving the sharing... it will be so much fun planning the stagette with her... cant wait... and you better be prepared sarah... we are going to have a blast


so thats about it... if i missed anything i am very sorry, but i will try to keep the blog up to date... or at least not really out of date... we shall see how that goes... enjoy the updates.

Wonderland aka Castle Fun Park

so this past weekend was my omas birthday party and my auntie mare came out with two of her kids. so since they were only here for the weekend i decided (with some help from a few people... you know who you are) that i would take rach and luke out (luke is rach and my cousin) to wonderland... i know, i know its now called castle fun park, but it just doesnt sound right... wonderland sounds so much better... but enough about that... here are some wonderland pics.

Heidi's Beards

this is heidi's beard art... so much fun... well its up at zulu records right now and will be there til just before valentine's i think... anyway, i went out to see it with her and michael and it was a blast... we got to zulu in time to see the exhibit for 6 minutes... not nearly enough time, but we got it all in... then we went to sophie's cosmic cafe... which i would recommend to anyone who is looking for lots of food for a very good price... and then i realized i had lost my phone... well actually it was taken, but this is how it went... on saturday afternoon i went to my oma's place in surrey for her birthday party... happy birthday oma... and i guess when i was getting out of my car, my cell fell out of my pocket onto the street and someone came and took it later... so most of the night was spent with me saying... this is really pissing me off that i cant find my phone... and on and on... so i phone my oma and my aunt goes outside to see if it fell out of my pocket on the way into my car, but no phone... i dump my purse out, but no phone... then i phone my phone and i think i get my answering machine, but i actually get a bunch of hoodlums (thats what im calling them cause they have my phone), then i phone my dad... and dad comes to the rescue... he phones too and he gets the hoodlums too, and then we cancel the phone... i got a new phone... same number, but what a pain... so if i had your number in my phone i probably dont have it anymore, so if you want me to call you... call me so i have your number... lol... well back to the real story...

the whole project is to have people see these beards and image themselves with it... so imagine away.

Harrison

so for new years we went to harrison hot springs... so much fun... as you can see by all of these pics... i will not explain all of them as they are pretty self explanatory... but this one of my dad is great... on new years eve we went to the hotel lounge and played some pool, had a few drinks, and ordered this tower of appys... so many good appys... well that explains that picture... but it was a blast... i think it was one of my favorite family memories... good times, good times.

Gracie's Baptism

just before christmas baby gracie had her baptism... so cute... so she wore the scharft family baptismal gown... which is very old... i am not sure how old, but i think my mom's oldest brother was baptised in the same gown... that would have been 60 odd years ago... anyway, gracie was such a doll, she was dressed up and looked so darn cute... see for yourself.

everyone praying... even gracie looks like she is praying... and even when she was being baptised, she didn't even make a peep... she squirmed around a lot, but no crying.

these are the little frilly bum tights that she was wearing that day... my mom got them for her even before she was born... not knowing if it was a girl or boy, so thankfully gracie is a girl so she can wear them... they are just too darn cute.
