Kits with Heidi

When i was over at my sister and brother-in-law's place in Kits a few months ago we spent the day walking around vancouver in the beautiful weather...wish this weather would return. so this is me and cleo posing by some carved trees that are in Kits park. oh and if you are wondering what that red yarn is that is attached to the leash...that is cleo hand-made harness that we created as i had forgotten her harness. i think over the 5 years i have had her i have bought 10 already. i seem to loose them everywhere. so now i have one in my car...one upstairs by the key...one in her stuff...and i think one other one somewhere. whenever i loose them, i get another one...and then i find the one i lost in the first place. its just a vicious cycle...but i digress.

anyway, this old man was there flying kites...they were amazing. he said that he has being doing this for like 16 years and he went to some competitions where he would fly like 20 or more kites at a time. i dont know how he does this...i mean i struggle with only one kite. it was just spectacular...and he landed one right near heidi and i... the tail actually hit us.

all separate kites, and they arent getting tangled...just amazing.

oh yes...the canadian geese. a whole group or gaggle or flock...whatever you call them came across our path as we were walking. cleo was quite excited to see them...luckily we had our home-made harness to restrain her. haha.

Mothers Day

So mothers day was two weeks ago, and to as part of my moms gift i got this top to wear the whole day... mom loved it. its actually quite a nice top...so i really want to wear it more than just one day a year. but i guess i could wear it any time...i do love my mom more than just one day a year... haha.

Cleo

This is my 'puppy' cleo...she is not really a puppy, but i call her that. she is actually like 5. but this is the picture i sent into old navy for their mascot contest. apparently their old mascot is retiering becuase he is too old for the show biz...and they need a new one. so i figure cleo is cute enough and im sure they would pick her... but thats just my opinion.

Bubbles

I got this bubble machine a little while ago, and I just love it. It is just so much fun to play with. I feel like such a kid, but whatever keeps you young... lol.
