The Flowbee

I cant believe they actually thought this up. i can remember being younger and thinking that this was such a cool thing. i just cant believe what the eighties came up with. lol. but i thought this would all enjoy this little flashback. hope you have a good laugh.

You hook it up to your vacuum cleaner, and you cut your hair with it. The official Flowbee website describes it best:
The FLOWBEE Vacuum Haircut System allows you to create the most popular haircut styles. FLOWBEE can cut your hair from 1/2" to 6" long in any 1/4" increments. Simply select the desired spacer depending on the length you want your haircut. Then attach the spacer to your Flowbee. Haircut styles of your choice are easy and clean. Longer than 6" haircut is possible with the addition of more spacers available on the parts page. I had a friend whose mom owned a Flowbee (or similar) haircut system. He looked like his hair was cut by a drunken Edward Scissorhands.

so here is another random pic of cleo i found. i think this is from june a little while after i cut her hair extremely short. but she looks cute in this pic...as in every other pic. lol

The Murv

so tonight i went to the murrayville pub (aka...the murv) for wing night with sarah and maria. we went there for only one reason...the most delicious wings ever...honey garlic all the way. anyway, the point of the story is who do i run into there...well my cousin danny and his wife heather...whose sister is sarah. i know it sounds kinda sorted, but it was so nice to see them there... it kinda reminds me of cheers...you know the show...'you want to be where everyone knows your name'...come on sing along i know you are already. anyway...that was my night. not too exciting, but worth mentioning...right danny.

Me

as some of you have been mentioning i have not been updating my blog very often...well let me explain. for the past 7ish weeks i have been housesitting for a few different people... and its hard to put pics up from other peoples computers. but i am home for an hour or so...so here are a few updates as to what has been going on.

i will be putting updates on my new condo up soon. i am hoping to put pics up of the progress of the construction. so very exciting... i can actually see now where my apartment will be. yeah. well thats it for now...i will try to keep it up to date. enjoy

Some Random Pics

my sis (prego) and her hubby have been growing grapes...and this is the first sight of them. dont they look yummy. i cant wait to try them...if there's enough.

this i have no idea what it is...i found it on a log at prego's hous at first i thought it wasnt natural, but it is...kinda gross. well i guess it will remain a mystery.

Cloud Rainbow

this past sunday i went to the dog park with my sister (prego)...we thought we would take the dogs out for a bit. so cleo (my dog), cassie (prego's dog), ringo & candy (my cousins dogs of whom i am dogsitting/housesitting for) all had some fun at the dog park...basically they just jumped all over us when we were sitting in a nice shady spot. anyway...when i looked up i saw this rainbow in the clouds... i have never seen something like this before, but it was amazing. i guess the water in the clouds were reflecting just perfectly....amazing.

Little Birdie

while i was visiting my aunt and uncle, and everyone else that was there, at cultus, my uncle found this little birdie on the golf course...fitting place for a birdie...lol a pun my mom would be proud of...hah. his wing was hurt so my uncle gave him to me to take care of. so for about an hour i held him, but he made my hand quite sweaty, and it was a hot day, and really, what can i do for this poor little bird with a hurt wing. i couldnt bring him home, i had no where for him to stay...so eventually i had to let him go in the bushes behind the campground.

he was such a good little bird, bu the end i could open my hand and he wouldnt fly away. i never got to name him, but i guess i will name him now...maybe chip...or fred. lol

Aquarium

Sarah, Braedon and I went for a little trip to the aquarium recently and here are some pics. It was quite a fun day, the place was packed, but it was still fun. Lots of things to see.

I love this pic of the dolphin, when i first looked at it, i didnt realize that it was a dolphin. i know, not very bright, but it just looks so out of place...obviously.
the cute sea otters. we actually had our lunch sitting right beside them...we couldnt find any table, so we made due. it was a nice sitting there with our triple over-priced food...lol

as you can see this is a snake...but it kinda reminds me of one of those woven mats...i may be crazy, but if it was on the floor like that, i may not have noticed. lol. well there you go, that was my trip to the aquarium. i had not been there since who knows when...it was nice to go back, i would go more often, but it takes a while to get there, and its kinda expensive. i will have to go coupon searching next time...maria keep your eyes open. :)

Larry King Live

i know its kinda random, but i thought y'all might enjoy this

last night i was babysitting braedon and once he was in bed i started to channel surf as sarah has cable and i do not. well i came across this...

i rarely watch larry king live and i had always thought that he was a serious, no jokes kind of guy. but when i saw this...my mind was changed. it was really quite funny, and they stayed in character the whole time. they even had other people from the movie call in and they had email questions for them and everything. it was soo funny. what really got me was the caption...how much better can it get.

Found a Treat

One day when cleo and dassy were playing together cleo started to go on a search...

at first i didnt know what she was looking for but as you can see she had found one of dassy's treats that she had hidden for another time.

well dassy wasnt very happy that she had found it but cleo really wanted to eat the treat so i had to give each half. cleo gobbled hers down pretty quickly but dassy wasnt ready to eat her hidden treasure... cleo was not too happy about that so she started barking at dassy as she stared at her treat... i think cleo thought that if dassy wasnt going to eat it then she should be able to...what a monkey.

This is of them running around like crazy...it was soooo hot that i soaked them both down with the hose. well they got excited and started running around like there was no tomorrow. as you can see their tails are almost straight back...less wind resistance i guess. but they were booting it across the lawn.
