My New Place

As most of you know i am in the process of buying my first home. it is a condo, not too big...and its mine...now i just have to figure the mortgage out. sounds a bit weird hey...i thought you should always have a mortgage before you buy, but since this place wont be done until the end of march, i cant get one until then. but i have been preapproved so im not going in blind. anyway, here are some pics to give you an idea.

these are the color palates...i chose warm if it wasnt clear...lol. i love the wood flooring and the cupboards. it is so beautiful. the colors are lighter for the walls, but i can always paint after if i really want to. but i think i can decorate with some color so it should be perfect.
here is the beautiful fireplace. i thought the mantle would be like an inch thick, but its a lot bigger than i thought...which is nice.

i will try to post a floorplan as soon as i figure out how to change it to a picture. hopefully soon.

Oh and on a completely separate note, Happy Birthday Auntie Elsie. hope you had a good one.

Seattle

since it was my holidays this past week, my friend maria decided we should go to seattle for a few days...what a great idea... it was such a blast. we first went to pike place market... this is where they throw the fish...here is the guy catching the fish. there was some pretty cool things there. unfortunately most of the booths had seafood, flowers and fruit...all of which are hard to keep and then cross the border with. but it was fun looking around all the different shops and stalls.

then we decided to go to the space needle... totally amazing. this picture is of a guy that is just strapped in and walking along the edge of the space needle. they said he was inspecting it and making sure there were no screws loose or anything that would be dangerous. if it was me doing that job, i would be in overalls or in something a bit cooler...he on the other hand is in slack and a nice top with dress shoes...but i guess whatever you are comfortable in is what you want to be working in...especially at that height.

this is the komo news 4 chopper. i just thought it was cool to see it parked. i mean i see it on tv sometimes and now i saw it in person...i feel like im talking about someone famous...but im not...lol. well that pic was taken from the space needle and it was just neat to see everything from so far above it.

the space needle from the ground. we sat down in the shade for a bit and it was neat to see how far up we were just a few minutes before.

this is at the hotel. we had just finished swimming and we were getting ready to go to bed. cutie pie annika just didnt feel like sleeping and decided to be cute. she was lying beside her mom watching tv with us and was just sooo adorable.

Pots and Pans

as most of you know i am in the middle of looking for a place to buy...so i have been kinda preparing for the move out. and as you can see i have bought some pots...this is the best pot...i absolutely love it. i actually found some blue pots as my most of my kitchen stuff is blue already. i was soo happy to find them. and then of course 'the big pot'. i just cant wait to use them all...im sure cleo cant wait either...although i would cooking for her not her...and if any of you thought that...im just appalled....haha.

Luke and Me

this is me and my cousin luke...just googing around. this was just before we went to the movie cars...love that movie...anyway, this first pic is our 'serious' pic.

this is our now we are really serious...and luke is being a bit pompous... or that is what he is supposed to look like. lol

this is cleo and dassy...they are sisters...so this is them playing together...i believe cleo is getting ready to pounce on dassy...they just love playing with eachother.

Siblings Night Out

in june all the kids (and significant others...if we had one) went out for a dinner. we decided to go to cactus club...on a friday night...what were we thinking. we had to wait for about an hour and a half. thats why the pic of our little machine that we were waiting to light up for soooooo long.

so this is everyone...and i just noticed this but you can see our waiters hand...lol. well we stayed there for a while...heck if we had to wait for an hour and a half we were definitely going to stay there longer. so we made camp and started to relax. it was such a blast...i cant wait for our next siblings night out.

this is a pic of me...obviously...but it looks like i am totally drunk, but im not...kyle and i were just having fun taking funny pictures of eachother.
kyle acting drunk...we really had a blast just hanging out and relaxing. catching up on everything that we miss cause we dont see eachother everyday...well for the siblings reading, we will have to plan another one soon...say mid august?

Cleo at the Beach

A few weeks ago, on a nice sunny day i took cleo to the beach (also there was my cousin luke and his cousin john...they were skim boarding) and she just loves the beach. as soon as we got there she just bolted onto the sand and started running around like crazy. so we spent a few hours walking around and visiting other dogs and just playing. she even got brave enough to actually swim...although it was only in a tidal pool, but she swam all on her own.
