The Friendly Giant

my sister sent me this and it brought back so many memories...i dont know if all of you remember the friendly giant and his friends rooster and rusty (can you figure out who is who)...rooster was always in a sac on the wall, i couldnt for the life of me ever figure out why he was in the sac, or what he did when he said goodbye and disappeared. and then there were always two chairs by the fire for anyone who likes to read and a rocking chair for those that like to rock. and of course the famous line...look up, look waaaay up. oh yeah, and in the beginning you go through the snowy village and then you come to his big boot, and he says he will go inside and let the drawbridge down so you could come in...wow, that was a great show. i always wanted to live in that castle...what great memories. im not sure what the whole show was about anymore, but i remember that the friendly giant always had songs that he would sing. but i think there must have been small skits or stories that he read too. hoped you all liked this blast from the past.

I remember the opening credits, when the cow would jump over the moon, It was always on right before mr. dressup and my sisters and I would gather around the television waiting for the Friendly giant and Mr.dressup! Those were good times.
